Looking like a supervillain's evil headquarters out of a Batman movie, this is in fact the German headquarters building for Telefónica Europe plc, a European telecommunications company that provides fixed and mobile communications under the brand O2.

While this photo looks highly processed, this is pretty much what the camera captured through the glass of the tour bus with just a bit of saturation.

The O2 group was acquired by Telefónica of Spain at the beginning of 2006 in what was at that time as the biggest all-cash takeover in the history of the telecommunications industry at £17.7 billion cash.

The ultra-modern 38-story “Hochhaus Uptown München” building with its a sheer glass façade was designed by Christoph Ingenhoven, but as a signature tower of the Uptown office complex, and not for O2 specifically. The building, completed in 2003, is the tallest in southern Germany.
