Mapping out my week
In half-hour intervals.
The Unschedule!
It's Day 4 of my new lifestyle pattern. I promise that next week I'll stop harping on this crazy Skinnerian/Dog-Whisperer behavioral therapy that I've concocted for myself, but for now... well, it's working.
Though I must admit, I'm sort of exhausted.
This is probably because I've been getting up significantly earlier than I have in years (sadly, that around 10am) while continuing to struggle with sleeping at night (either in fits, or not at all). Surprisingly, the mornings have been really good to me. Going to the gym for an hour or two leaves me feeling energized. And jumping into these small blocks of writing is quite rewarding. As I chart out my day, I realize how little time there is in the day to get everything done. Strange how it's never occurred that way before. It makes me want to get busy writing. Get busy DOING things that I otherwise would have put off, and put off.
Now it's 11:03pm, and after a full day's work, I'm tired. I wonder if I will sleep.
I will miss the night.
I hope it will have me back
Once in a rare while.

Here is my first set of screenshots using the new 20" Cinema Display.
On the Cinema Display, I had Dreamweaver running, along with Transmit, Safari, Mail, Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator.
The page design I was working (in Safari here) is for my upcoming DFP course. :)

On the MacBook screen, I was running iChat, Colors, Finder, Dictionary and iTunes with a completely random shuffle that worked out pretty good.
