The most exclusive event I covered for the Red Cedar Log in the fall was presidential candidate Barack Obama's speech on Michigan State's campus. Around 40,000 people came to see him talk, and he spoke about issues relevant to Michigan as well as the nation. I was in the media platform overlooking the entire audience.
