She woke up this morning
Not wanting to stay;
She dismissed any thoughts
And waved November away.
She stepped outside
December's first dreary day,
Heading to work
Not taking a different way.
She crossed at the intersection
Under the suspended red light;
When a speeding car went passed
And then quickly took flight...
